These are notifications from your browser. Go to the notification settings and disable all and any notifications from Safari that you don’t know what they are.
Your Mac is fine.
At least you know what time it is.
It is time to replace Safari with a much more secure browser, such as Vivaldi or Brave.
Go into Safari or whatever browser you use, Command C (open preferences) and then find notifications and remove access from all the sketchy websites
op’s been on some special websites
And then they say, “Enable sideloading for iPhones!!!1!!!1 PEoPle AreNT DuMB!!!”
At least add the side loading in the Developer Options & that it is off by default. then people will most likely not mess around with it
just goes on to prove that iphone users are dumb… not the feature
At least put it in like Developer Options & that side loading is auto-off, then people will most likely not mess around with it
Honestly if they hid it in developer settings even most “tech savvy” consumers wouldn’t bother. Even when I was on android, I downloaded “cracked” apks only a handful of times. That was usually cause I had not debit or credit card to put on my account as a teen. Now it’s not even worth the time.
I hope they do
IKR? the “i ThInK i’V’e bEeN haCkEd!!” posts in r/iPhone would be great entertainment.
Man, Safari is so crap. You have to disable all browser notifications to get rid of the issue instead of actually fixing it lmfao

This is false. Just go Safari -> Settings -> Web Sites -> Notifications and any that are set to allow, just change to deny.
Or you can click any in the list, then hit the remove button and that one is then gone completely.
If I got 1p for every time one of these posts appears on my Reddit feed I’d be a billionaire.
How do people get those “viruses” on Mac? I swear I have never seen one in real life.
The pop up? Sketchy websites for movies, anime, manga, books, etc.
go under safari setting remove the notification and then Block any future website that ask to allow notification just search its there, nothing good will come out from it just block everything
Sooo usually the only reason you get these pop ups is when you visit certain adult sites lol.
or one of those piracy websites
Fellow New Hampshire resident spotted?
Have you accidentally enabled notifications for a website in your browser?
maybe try a specific site that checks your macbook for viruses. i think it’s very wise that you haven’t clicked on that yes
They are just browser pop ups. It happens when you press ok to enable notifications. Just turn them off lol it’s not a big deal
I’ve never seen settings app with a red notification icon in the alerts before. Looks dodgy as heck.
RedFlags to look out for: emojis are usually a dead giveaway along with -> Click here
