My status just updated to packaged items. Ordered LE 10:34 PST 11/16

Just asking, for those of who who bought or are contemplating buying the LE:

What is the attraction of the LE at this point? If (presumably) tens of thousands of other people will have it, and it isn’t all that rare, and if there might be other LEs of a different flavor in future, why not just buy the regular 1TB OLED, call it a day, and use the saved difference to buy yourself a congratulatory bottle of Tito’s?

I hope they do another transparent shell for the deck2!

I would’ve probably got one but really dislike anti-glare coatings on an oled screen.

I’m trying to see if I can change my order. I got the standard one after being unable to check out with the limited edition one getting message that order could not be completed because an item in my cart was out of stock. Steam themselves told me it was no longer available, but their website still gave the “buy now” option with a 2-4 week delivery window. Then this morning it still showed as available with a 1-2week delivery window. Yet valve says it’s out of stock and people here have been able to still order it.

Who cares, it still looks awesome.

Scalpers be like, should I buy just one more? 2 days later, ok ok last one. Valve: removes the limited edition flag. Scalpers: fuck.

Seems like you don’t understand that limited edition also means “limited timeframe too”.

Seems like everyone that would want one can get one, honestly dont mind that. Down the road they’ll become a little more rare

Not hating. Snagged mine about an hour ago. There are no issues in checkout. I’m happy. I’ll be saying goodbye to the asus rog ally. Gotta return that by 12/1.

I bet valve underestimated people not wanting etched glass on OLED.

Limited by the time it’s available, not number of units. There is a difference.
