I cancelled mine after it became clear they’re about as limited as chlamydia at a spring break beach party.

I’ll either wait for the next limited colorway or an actual hardware upgrade.

This was my one saving grace. I absolutely despise the etched glass screen, especially for an OLED display. The Apple XDR display, and the surface of my Cintiq and the Paperlike I use on the iPad Pro, taught me to hate the font-blurring, contrast-reducing, color-diluting laminated etched glass. I love the look of the LE, and it was a near perfect combination of materials and colors — and the lined case is pretty fantastic too — but I was immediately uninterested in reducing some of the major benefits of OLED to reduce reflections in the few cases where I might appreciate the feature.

So while I may feel a little burned they didn’t offer the option between the display types, and will miss the colorway, I do not regret not dealing with the stress of trying to order one of these today.

Where is this a limited edition? In the US this is what it looks like. And there were no ordering issues. Went very smooth

Limited addition?? Where? On my steam, it’s also only 649. The 512g was 549, which I just ordered today. And nowhere on my steam said it was limited addition. I’m in the US though. This is weird

I wanted the LT but didn’t want the etched glass… Maybe eXtremeRate will put something out. Even if its just the clear shell for now, I can spray paint the screws and mesh.

I think everyone that grew up through the 90’s would want the limited edition Steam Deck due to the nostalgia factor of the old transparent Gameboy Pocket & Gameboy Color editions.

I really want to change my payment method, I was trying to get whatever worked since the card I wanted got hit with the “tried too many times” but don’t want to cancel and reorder.

omg the limited edition was such a good fomo sales tactic. I was about to buy a limited edition but then realized I’m only buying it because its limited and would hardly use the darn thing so i didn’t lol, i’ll save my money to buy an upgrade to my 2080 in a year or two. only buy this thing if you actually plan on using it and not as a paper weight.

I don’t know what a colorway is but from Google says it’s like a see through version of the steam deck like the old gameboys??
