Has to be Kos and saliba for both CB positions, even though Gabriel is very close to Kos and given time could be even better
Saliba probably the least controversial pick out of the xi
Kos I remember thinking he’s the best CB in the world for a moment. Gabriel has some likeless. He’s kinda speedy, very good in the air and always a goal threat for our corners
Saliba and Koscielny are clear CB partnership, maybe Mert and Gabriel could come close, but not close enough.
Sokratis P (2018-2021)
Willian Saliba (2019-present )
Too soon? Naaaah, he’s already the best.
Yeah, him. Just close the topic and move on to the next one
Thomas Vermaelen (2010-2014)
Not sure why people aren’t giving Vermaelen enough credit. When he was fit, which wasn’t that often during the end of his Arsenal career, he was a top CB. He did complete a move to Barcelona eventually, but they wanted him way before his actual move there because he was so versatile.
I wouldn’t line him up ahead of Sabila or Koscielny, but I would definitely have him in the bench along with Mertesacker.
Laurent Koscielny (2010-219)
Kosc should win the LCB vote.
Man went back to the Roman times
Gabriel Paulista (2015-2017)
Ben white (2021-present )
Per Mertesacker (2011-2018)
I knew he wouldn’t win the popular vote, but Per Is the CB for me.
He should win this just for that FA cup performance. Out for almost the entire season. Comes back from a big injury and single handedly won us that final.
Shkodran Mustafi (2016-2021)
Gabriel (2020-present )
Rob Holding (2016-2023)
With the dates this is starting to read like an obituary!
David Luiz (2019-2021)
For LB position, Nacho Monreal wins by landslide. He’s the first player to have more than 1k votes for a position. Here’s the top 3 LBs based on your votes:
-
Monreal - 2.2k
-
Tierney - 542
-
Tomiyasu - 456
I’ll put some suggestions in the comments for RCB for you to vote (I’m guessing this another landslide win for certain CB 👀).
If I’m building a team from scratch without considering fitness, I’m choosing Zinchenko over these.

Calum Chambers (2014-2022)
