    Quebec doesn’t always get it right but we along with BC are perhaps one of the best places to own an EV.

    Plug in Hybrid’s, like the Prius Prime are Partial Zero Emissions Vehicles. Because they can run on 100% battery until the BEV battery is discharged. That means no emissions for the 1st 30 to 45 miles YMMV. My wife’s car only needs to get gas when we go on road trips. Around town she never uses gas. After 10,000 miles she has got 89 MPG. She charges at home and to help the grid charges on a timer that starts after midnight. Which means getting gas about once a quarter.

    Charging infrastructure on Vancouver Island sucks though. I have a Tesla and I’m constantly afraid of driving up north
