First they drugged the spiders, and I said nothing. Then they drugged the lobsters…
Oooh does they mean we are getting drugs next??
laughs in DEA
And I giggled uncontrollably because I was high as hell. I made sure to try the drugs before the lobsters got dosed. 😵
Aren’t lobsters just sea spiders without web?
Probably Sea Cockroaches.
tjose would be crabs, lobster is more of a sudoscorpion of the sea
Pre-dosed lobsters??? Edibles have never been easier!
this is a million dollar idea right here
Yeah im getting foie-gras vibes here…
I don’t particularly like lobster, it’s overrated, but weed lobster, shit… 😶
I don’t care for lobster either, but grilled is somehow different. Excellent even.
You mean baked lobster, yeah? 😁
That lobster is about to navigate/fold space for interstellar travel.
It’s about time we abandoned computers and accepted the spice
the spice is life
Joe: Hey fellow scientist, I have a great idea for research. First we make a super sick super awesome pressure bong and then…
Fellow Scientist: Then what Joe? We study lobsters here, how are you going to justify getting stoned on work time and with expensive equipment?
Joe: Hold my bong, I got a research grant proposal to write. You got any LSD laying around?
Edit: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34197845/
They infused the lobster with THC…
Pair it with a nice chicken breast and you could have yourself a sky & high.
I had to look this study up, it was worth it lol. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34197845/
A restaurateur proposed that exposing lobster to cannabis smoke reduces anxiety and pain during the cooking process.
“I wanna cook it, not torture it ok?”
So wait… I might be reading this wrong, but it sounds like they took in the THC (detectable levels in all tissues sampled), but didn’t really process or absorb it (minimal nociceptive effects). Did they just infuse a lobster!?
(Edit: fixed a word)
@ItsGatorSeason
So, they were trying to see if a lobster wouldn’t mind being boiled alive if they got it high first? Am I reading that right?
@poplargrove
True goal of the experiment: Does a stoned lobster taste better, worse or the same?
About the same as a rock lobster I’d assume.
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34197845/
You aren’t that far off. They were trying to see if the lobster wouldn’t notice being boiled to death if they got it stoned first, but they just succeeded in infusing the lobster with THC, because they don’t have THC receptors.

Life is too short for markdown :)
We didn’t learn anything from suffocating monkeys with weed smoke pumped through gas masks?
Hmm I know dolphins like to get high has anyone tried giving them the?
