I think it’s important to make a distinction here. Yes, there is a lack of racial diversity but not all diversity. There are different nationalities and upbringings in the team which blend cultures.

Race is important but it isn’t the be all and end all of diversity.

Good they acknowledge the lack of diversity but hopefully they have a plan that will offer other ethnicities a real pathway to top level football.
