It’s not simple, players and fans will still always moan.

Every level of football in every country the same shit is said about refs, biased/cheating/incompetent/lazy ect etc there is never going to be a ref good enough.

Are refs in every country and at every level incompetent ?

In many of those countries there have been major corruption scandals relating to referees. In this one fans like you inexplicably believe that referees are good chaps.

Every single week their association is making public apologies for an egregious error. This isn’t just a missed call here or there, the standard in the premier league is exceptionally poor and everyone knows it. You can continue burying your head in the sand, the rest of us will continue to call out the bullshit.

You are not allowed to shout at the ref, it’s that simple.

This is standard in every other sport, yet every week people cry about getting booked for shouting at the ref.

But I’ll ask again, is every ref at every level and in every country incompetent ? Go play 5 a side and the ref is still abused.

Saka is getting kicked out of every game. red cards not given in consecutive weeks. penalty situation that they apologized for earlier in the season for getting wrong, completely ignored. no apology for Kovacic and probably not going to be one for Sanchez either.

Arteta needs to speak up to the media now or the club need to release a statement. At this rate we are just protecting them for fucking us over. Saying nothing isn’t helping - it’s just getting worse.

Saka is obviously vital to the point where Arteta always wants him on the pitch; he’s getting kicked more than ever and being quiet isn’t helping. Opponents know they aren’t calling anything to the point that even shit clubs at the bottom of the league like Bournemouth are allowed to kick him all game with no action. Somebody at the club has to say something before he misses significant time unfairly. It can’t get much worse.

Statements a great idea, look at Liverpool and konate not getting sent off

It needs to be in the public domain

i agree on this. we need to do more… start chanting about referee decision against us. like the double yellow card in one play to martinelli. xhaka red. kicking saka. kovacic. brentford double offside turning the blind eyes etc.

Don’t want us to do what Liverpool did though tbh… Sure it makes noise and possibly right from a moral lens, but will come across very victim like and we will be ridiculed everywhere…

Take it on the chin, do what we do best and see how the season plays out… Most times, things even out…

How many yellow card does he have this season? 3-4? I believe he will be suspended a game if it gets to a certain number

he has 2 if this counts. i don’t think the community shield one counts. 2 more until a touchline suspension.

You can cry about it or just realise you aren’t allowed to treat the refs the same as you used to be able too.

Even if you think the refs wrong don’t shout in his face or go after him, pretty simple and it’s been the standard in every sport for years. As footballers/managers etc we’ve just been allowed to act up to refs

Arteta probably asked the refsomething but ref on his power trip decided to book arsenal representatives.

And yet you have people who rated him more than a 1 in the post match ratings.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Arteta was asking why he blew up on 97 on the dot when a Chelsea player was down injured for about 90 seconds during injury time itself, which should have also been added on.

It’s the first time since they implemented the new injury time rules that it felt like a ref had dared to go back to the old ways of just calling time whenever they pleased.

We need clock stopping. This experiment is bad for players’ health and not being handled consistently.

Or why added time is only a thing in the second half? Jesus was down for a while after being butchered by Palmer as one of a few injuries.

Not to mention (basically) every second between the ball hitting Saliva’s arm and is kicking off (I imagine four minutes or so later) should be added. We got two which he blew up on the dot while we were attacking.

I thought the same about the penalty. Everything from the handball until play eventually stopped is nullified, so that time should’ve been added back on top of the time for the review and the penalty itself.
