Saka and Odegaard were really bad today, not just for their level but overall.
I’m glad Saka pulled this out in the end as it spares his blushes, but he’s well off the boil in terms of his overall impact on games. He’s such a good player that he turns tiny moments into concrete contributions but I hope it clicks soon because despite getting the assist he was by far the worse of the two wingers today.

He’s supposed to be one of the best on the ball, but is shut down by shite defenders, CONSTANTLY. Two years ago, no one ever said, where’s saka. Or, saka’s on lockdown this game. It literally NEVER happened. Now? It’s all the time. And it’s not just tactics, he very rarely beats his man anymore. The fact that you all think other wise proves YOU all don’t watch the games. One good cross doesn’t undo an entire 90 minutes of abject failure on the wing. Sorry.
