Why can’t VAR get involved and tell the ref it’s a corner like the TMO in rugby?
+1
I literally discussed this earlier. The VAR is more than happy to get involved in a point blank, unavoidable handball, but they turn a blind eye to a legit corner shout our way.
To be fair they’re already fumbling straight forward decisions which can occur a few times a game. They’re not ready for corner shouts which can happen a dozen times a game.
Let alone the yellows, 2nd yellows, dives and fake head injuries which VAR can’t get involved with but should.
Rule say u need to hit 3 Chelsea players to get a corner.
This happens at least once in almost every match. Seems simple to have video official radio down to crew correct call but no doubt they would manage to mess that up even worse somehow
