Two holistic changes will also be coming to PvP beginning 7.6:

Warzone matching will be updated allowing players to group up with four players max (down from eight).

Set Bonus effects on the level 75 Spoils of War gear will be disabled during PvP matches.

Should help out solo PvPers, or those just grouping with a friend or two. There really was no chance beating an 8-man premade of dedicated, BiS veterans coordinating in Discord together.

It appears GSF isn’t being included in this though, which is disappointing, as GSF is very unfriendly for new players already. Getting squashed by large, group-queue space aces doesn’t help them out much.
