There was a car show where I lived and I sat in the current i5 M60 touring. What a let down. No more split rear tailgate, no more rear vertical cargo net.

These were standard features on all previous tourings. In fact these are the major reasons why I liked BMW touring than other brands. No other brands offer these afaik from the factory as standard.

More cost cutting inside with cheap piano black plastic as well. Oh and the giant widescreen tablet as infotainment and gauge cluster, great.

But you get a light up front grille. So I guess it all works out.
