Their improvement last season was due to many factors, not just Alonso. I think he’ll be a good one but let’s just chill. He hasn’t proven much yet.

Same as gerrard. Gerrard was winning SPl without losing a match.

Last season watched his team when roma played against Bayer laverkusen.

They struggled to get a shot on target in almost 200 minutes of football. He had no clue to how to do things differently. And that was a roma team without 6-7 first teams players.

Fucking hell. We are rotating Carlo and Zizou since 2013 like there’s no other manager. I love Zizou and would love to have him back but it’d be a nice change if we get someone else.

He has yet to coach a full season and still drastically improved a struggling Leverkusen side. If that ain’t worth the hype, what is?

He promoted Real Sociedad B you know. He has shown incredible flexibility by going in from a fully defensive league to a full offensive league. He has shown he can play 3223,433 and his current 3412 seamlessly. He has studied under Mourinho at his peak, Pep and Ancelotti. He took Leverkusen last season from the end to where they should have been.

In this season he has shown his flexibility and the ability to switch tactics on the fly and is undefeated everywhere, despite playing both RaBa and Bayern. It is obvious that he would slip in in January and February due to AFCON, but so far there is a lot to be hyped for.

And well, Zidane dog walked everyone and he barely had any experience with senior sides aside from some experience as assistant manager when he started. Experience doesn’t equal tactical prowess.

I don’t think you guys have it in you to sack him. And that’s understandable. So Klopp is Liverpool manager until he decides he no longer is

Years of mediocrity, falling out with sections of the fans for extended periods of time, poor transfers, lack of CL, stagnating methods and staff appointments, couldn’t win a game away from home…it was time to go sadly.

He went on to work for FIFA on football policies, but as far as coaching is concerned he’s basically retired (not officially but he’s 73 and seems to be enjoying his life so I think coming back out to coach isn’t on his agenda).

Solskjaer’s initial few months at United was very good right until it wasn’t.

They were only struggling because their former coach was proper garbage. Definitely not a bad job Xabi Alonso is doing, but the hype is too much imo.

Lmao yeah, Wenger at least got top 4 every season. It took Arsenal almost a decade to find their form again.

I don’t think Tuchel will last till next summer at Bayern, so I fully expect Alonso to join Bayern.
