Two members of Donald Trump’s campaign staff had a verbal and physical altercation Monday with an official at Arlington National Cemetery, where the former president participated in a wreath-laying ceremony, NPR has learned.
A source with knowledge of the incident said the cemetery official tried to prevent Trump staffers from filming and photographing in a section where recent U.S. casualties are buried. The source said Arlington officials had made clear that only cemetery staff members would be authorized to take photographs or film in the area, known as Section 60.
When the cemetery official tried to prevent Trump campaign staff from entering Section 60, campaign staff verbally abused and pushed the official aside, according to the source.

I don’t know the details of that, but presumably because it would be considered disrespectful.
JFC the campaign response is at least as diabolical as the incident itself. Fuck these guys so much. They deserve so much retribution from so many people but we will have to be satisfied just working to thump them at the voting booth.

There were 63 US military deaths in Afghanistan during the Trump administration. This piece of shit goes around saying that nobody died in that operation during his watch, and talks about how Biden cost the US THIRTEEN lives during the sundown of the Afghanistan war started by Republicans - a series of wars that go back to the first part of the century and sank the country in unimaginable debt.
Biden will be remembered for putting his foot down on the forever wars. And he will be remembered for eviscerating Russia’s military and strengthening our EU alliance, using only a fraction of the US military national budget and without putting a single American solider in harm’s way.
This piece of shit thinks that’s a bad record for Biden, and he is going to go around lying about it, pretending he is making some powerful points about which parties does most to keep us safe.
Who starts unwinnable wars? Who has a barrage of “unavoidable” incidents on their watch? From terrorist attacks to pandemics to historical financial crashes and absurd deficits, it’s always a Republican having to make excuses … “who could have thought the terrorists were plotting and attack, or that the war on terror would take decades” … “who could have known the virus wasn’t going to disappear by April like a miracle.”

The Afghanistan withdrawal happened because it was arranged during the Trump administration.
It was supposed to happen in May, Biden pushed it back to August.
It’s honestly kind of disgusting how much time both administrations had to pull out of there after that withdrawal was set in stone, and it was still a last minute clusterfuck!!! All the DoDs shit should’ve been shipped back long before the deadline, it literally could have been just a couple desk jockeys putting their stuff in a box and walking into a plane.
A phased drawdown could have invited more attacks. It was done quickly so the taliban wouldn’t have time to react. Not that I’m happy with how it went or how much fucking gear and people got left behind, but I at least understand the thought process.
It was “done quickly” because the Taliban was actively trying to enter after the DoD ran the fuckin’ clock out. There is no excuse for doing fuck all in advance (that i am aware of); both administrations screwed the pooch here, and people died as a consequence, both soldiers and afghani civilians who were abandoned by the US. It’s disgraceful.

He said “doesn’t have” on July 3 2024, not “had”. It’s called present tense in English.
Unlike Trump, Biden does not currently have troops dying anywhere in the world.
