I love the commitment to the bit by only offering movies from the early 2000s.
Not sure if intentional or not, but this dude also looks like the world’s most obvious undercover cop, which adds another layer to the costume.
Offering Phantom Menace but neither Attack of the Clones, nor Revenge of the Sith, would be the dead giveaway
I thought it was Andrew Callaghan

“You wouldn’t download a car”
I fucking would
Shit, a new one every day even
If we had replicator technology to enable downloading a car, then it wouldn’t even matter that it would put a good chunk, if not most, of the auto industry out of work.
Though I wouldn’t be downloading any of today’s new cars. Maybe modded versions, and there’s probably a few exceptions that haven’t been thoroughly enshitified.
With the amount of issues I’ve had with pirated software, I’d make damn sure I was getting that car from a trusted site, though.
I would do this if not for the irresistible urge to make full use of this treasure of an opportunity to look and act like a pirate in a socially acceptable context.
Nothing’s stopping you from dressing as a 1700s pirate who sells pirate media 😀
Aye, i can get ya a bootleg of “Two lasses one barrel” if ye be interested.
Is that the one where you can see her ankles?
Pirate sharing pirated pirate movies
A digital pirate, dressed as a sea pirate, sharing pirated copies of Pirates of the Caribbean, with pirate cuts for maximum piracy
Sus. You’re talking about pillaging booty aren’t you
Missed a golden opportunity for his shirt to say “download a car”
The actual PSA slogan was “steal a car”. It only turned into “download a car” in a meme edit. This guy’s just committing to the bit.
It was changed because the original ad is bullshit. I would steal cars all the time if the original car was left behind and what I “stole” was an exact duplicate. The owner still has their car, I just copied it.
Edit: obligatory “if buying isn’t owning, then pirating isn’t stealing”.
Next time wear an AACS encryption key t-shirt.
Shreck
Look, he spends his time pirating, not spellchecking.
Stuart Little.
This guy was there.
He should have been selling copies of pirates of the Caribbean
The best part is the font they used for those anti piracy ads always looked like “yOu WoUlDnT dOwNlOaD a CaR”
I really hope the Stuart little disk just has a jpg of a mouse on it
Funny. This doesn’t look like a roadside stand in Neuvo Progreso, Mexico selling elote en vaso and badly cammed copies of Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull.
